Jet Molding
A modification of the injection molding process designed for thermosets. An elongated nozzle or “jet” is attached to the front of the molding cylinder, provided with a high intensity heating element and rapid cooling means. It is also necessary to control cylinder temperatures carefully to prevent premature hardening of the resin. Source: Whittington, Lloyd R.
